Due to the dojo closing due to inclement weather on Thursday 11/15, promotion has been moved to later dates. Those candidates who registered for Thursday can come to class at White Marsh on Saturday 11/17 or to Towson on Tuesday 11/20.

Due to the inclement weather and poor road conditions, the classes for Thursday 11/15 are cancelled. We’re hoping the weather warms up and classes can be held tomorrow. Please check the website for the latest on class status.

The dojo will be closed from Thursday, November 22 through Saturday, November 24th for the Thanksgiving Holiday. Please enjoy your time with family and friends. Travel safely if you are going out of town!

We will be back to our regular schedule on Monday, November 26th.

The holiday season is rapidly approaching and I’m sure you are asking yourself: what karate-related items and gifts can I get for my karate student or myself? Fret not, because we have you covered.

On November 13 & 14, from 4:00pm to 9:00pm at Towson and White Marsh Merritts, we will be holding our Holiday Sale. This is a perfect opportunity to order gifts, much needed replacement gear and apparel and other great items. Some items will be on hand and orders will be delivered before the Winter Holidays.

We will be accepting pre-orders before the Holiday Sale. The Century martial arts equipment and gift catalogs will be available outside the dojos for you to browse.

• Bo/Jo, weapons cases: As part of the Black Belt syllabus, students work with bos and jos. They must own their own weapons, and a case to carry them is advised.

Students will learn the basic techniques of the traditional Japanese style of martial arts, Seido Karate. They will work on practical self-defense, work on conditioning and endurance and learn drills and games that work on motor skill improvement.

Just a heads up that the dojo will closed on the evening of Oct. 31st.

Sorry for any inconvenience and things will return to the normal schedule on Thursday, Nov. 1.

Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate today and we need to cancel the End of Summer Karate party.

We’ll look at other options for rescheduling it and let you know what we decide soon.
