Dojo closures – Thanksgiving Thurs. Nov. 23 & Sat. Nov. 25

Turkey Day is nearly upon us! Did somebody say stuffing?! Mmm…

Considering everyone will be so full and enjoying time with their families and friends, the dojo will closed during the Thanksgiving Holiday.

No class on Thursday, November 23th or Saturday, November 25th. Our normal class schedule will resume on Monday, November 27th.

Be well, enjoy your time off and be ready to train hard when you get back.

Thank you for making our Holiday Sale and Celebration a Success!

Thank you everyone for showing up on Saturday and supporting the dojo… it wouldn’t be a wonderful day without you all.

We had a great time with the outdoor classes (broken down by belt ranks) and lots of wonderful feedback from students saying “how much they liked it” and “we should do that sort of training more often.”

Thank you so much to everyone that contributed to the House of Ruth fundraiser during the Holiday Sale!  We were able to raise $250 and we are still accepting donations during classes. If you are still interested in making a donation, please let the front desk know and they will help you!

The winner of the basket will be announced on Dec 14.

Thank you so much to our community for supporting such a wonderful cause!

BALTIMORE — “I was a runner, I’m a martial artist and I was like what else am I gonna do,” Karen Kells asked.

With more than two decades of karate under her black belt Kells decided to hit the open road, cycling.

“I did the Sea Gull Century in Maryland, and I had done a couple of rides in PA and I started tallying them and I said I wonder if I could do all 50 states, just bike in all 50 states and that’s how it came to be,” Kells said.

Kells Karate Academy Students Participate in the 47th Annual Seido Karate Tournament

Congratulations to all of our Towson students that competed in the 47th Annual Seido Karate Tournament!

We are very proud of the 13 students from Kells Karate Academy that entered to compete, regardless of how they did in the standings. It takes real courage to put yourself out there in front of everyone and compete. So kudos to those of you who supported the Seido Juku Benefit Foundation!!! That being said, everyone did a great job! We had lots of first and second place standings!
